Death an island – Thara D’souza

Castaway in rugged rock sharpened shore
I looked for faces
Death an anomic island
Where no babies play
No passionate lover kisses
No amber sun shines and shrinks
No far away fisherman sings and sails
No coconut grove grows and shades

Cloudy musky skies, howling wild winds
Dark shadows, blurred vision, heeded for voices
Unpeopled shore shacks vacuum…

    Hello Thara:
Reading one of your poem after long. A beautiful one this is. The vision you have given from the poets conception. I think the reader shall identify death-An island contrasted with life which is heavenly.
    Best wishes..
