There comes a time in life

When you crave for a break

From the dull routine

Of daily life

Of responsibilities

Of Worries and uncertainties..

To dive headlong

Into the warmth

Of those long forgotten

Little passions of your life

To engage in those little quirks of childhood

In blissful enjoyment

To rediscover life

With joy abandon

But as you savour the sweetness

All by yourself

A shadow does fall

When you realize how momentary

All this happiness really is…
