As Indian Ruminations is marking its 12th year into publishing, we would like to share the story of our journey to our readers. We envisaged IR as a platform for creative expressions in literature, this was a period when online publishing in India was making its way into the mainstream. Our readership grew across states and nationalities, bridging cultures and celebrating the diverse literature written in English and the translations from the regional languages in India. Indian Ruminations has also conducted multiple literature festivals, international seminars and academic workshops in the past decade. Over the years, IR grew from an exclusive literary web portal to a platform that features non-fiction essays on issues that matter to the public. Since February 2021, Indian Ruminations has been bringing up authentic non–fiction content abiding by the highest standards of journalism.
