I closed my eyes and stood still
Freeze, a bird flew by me whispered
I could hear leaves murmuring
Icy wind softly penetrates my skin.
Alone on the village square
On a cold early morning
Light yet to crack and shine
Everything calm and still.
Unto the dark depths of self
I could silently tread through
Touching, feeling the tangle of veins
Vibrant with memories undeletable.
Wounds bleeding unhealed
Rejections, treacheries, betrayals
Unseen helmet of thorns dig deep
And my orphaned soul leaps.
Pendulum ticks the unending time
Generations exit but dwells on next
Caveman roars, cyber ways tremble
Death and resurrection battle ceases not
I long for the silence to engulf me
The silence of the infinite space
Stars are born, torrent of black holes waiting
In silence the eternal symphony goes on
